Overview

  • Automotive Lab

    The Fraunhofer ESK Automotive Lab offers manufacturers and suppliers a comprehensive platform and set of tools to support development projects. Researchers utilize the lab to carry out research on new technologies for automotive networks, real-time operating systems, infotainment and driver assistance. The extensive test setups can be used for tasks such as testing and verifying more efficient software design methods in various automobile environments.

  • DSL & Access Test Lab

    Fraunhofer ESK operates a comprehensive DSL & Access Test Lab. This state-of-the-art facility permits the testing of a wide range of communication network components, services and new solutions including end user devices (telephones, PCs or set top boxes), IADs, modems, subscriber access lines, access and aggregation networks and servers for video, voice or data.

  • Enterprise Communication Lab

    With a variety of demonstrators, the Fraunhofer ESK Enterprise Communication Lab provides a comprehensive overview of the latest developments in the area of corporate network solutions. Of particular interest is the lab's current evaluation of unified communications and collaboration (UCC) solutions. Most of these convergent solutions are modularized in line with services such as voice and video communication, groupware, instant messaging, presence information systems and project place.

  • Industrial Lab

    The newly-established Fraunhofer ESK Industrial Lab offers a wide range of opportunities for measuring, testing and developing wireless systems. Researchers use the lab to work on new technologies for wireless-based communication as well as software architectures and methods for industrial applications.
