The Fraunhofer ESK undertakes applied research funded by the German federal and Länder ministries as well as projects solicited by customers and contractual partners in industry. The entire office on the mobile phone
The mobile phone plays an essential role for those who are often away from office: it memorizes appointments, telephone numbers and addresses, and offers access to e-mails. For each of these services – e. g. e-mail, Instant Messaging, Voice over IP (VoIP) – it is necessary to configure the access on the mobile phone as well as in the company. Not only does this effort confine the number of users but it also presents an obstacle to the implementation of new services. In order to make access to new services save and convenient in the future, Fraunhofer ESK and Comdasys AG jointly create a platform for convergent services. The platform will allow for the easy integration of new mobile services in an end-to-end solution.Further Information
Self-organizing mechanisms are the key feature of the wireless lock system developed by Fraunhofer ESK and Uhlmann & Zacher GmbH. These lock systems are easy to install and to manage.
